William Scott “Bill” Goldberg (born December 27, 1966) is a former professional wrestler best known for his time in World Championship Wrestling(WCW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).He is famous for his lengthy undefeated winning streak in singles competition. The official count is listed as 173-0,although some have disputed the legitimacy of that total.

 

Goldberg is recognized by WWE as a two-time world champion: a one-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and one-time World Heavyweight Champion, with both reigns represented by the Big Gold Belt. He was the first of four men to hold a version of the Big Gold Belt in both WCW and WWE, later followed by Chris Benoit, Booker T and Big Show. He is also recognized by WWE as a two-time WCW United States Heavyweight Champion andone-time WCW World Tag Team Champion (with Bret Hart).

 

Before he was a professional wrestler, Goldberg was a football player. After retiring from wrestling, he began working as a commentator for the mixed martial arts promotion EliteXC until its closure. He is currently hosting the television show Garage Mahal on the DIY Network.

Bill Goldberg Workout Philosophy

Bill Goldberg began lifting at the age of 16. He hasn’t slowed down since. For 15 years, Goldberg trained every day. More recently, he’s slowed down to just 5 days per week. He has a 2,500 square foot gym above his garage and his in there at 5:30am. He performs maintenance type routines now.

Goldberg’s workout routine is more similar to a powerlifter than a bodybuilder. He prefers to perform explosive exercises including Olympic moves, snatches, and major core moves. He changes hisstrength training routine often so that he surprises his muscles and so that he doesn’t get bored with his routine. In addition to his workouts, Goldberg performs kickboxing and stretches a lot.

Bill Goldberg Diet

Bill Goldberg’s diet is high in protein, low in fat. He’ll eat 12 egg whites and one yolk for breakfast along with half a pound of turkey bacon and half a pot of coffee. His typical lunch includes as much protein as possible. In addition, Goldberg drinks a lot of water, up to 15 bottles per day.

Another important part of Bill Goldberg’s workout routine and diet plan is getting adequate rest. He tries to always get a good night’s rest and manages to take naps during the day as well.
